Yaesu FT50 battery loan?

Hey guys... I'm leaving for Africa this week and I just realized that when my FT50 was stolen it had on it the AA battery case that I was planning on using (I had two FT50s)... any chance someone has one to loan me for my trip (I have one on order but it won't arrive in time... :( I leave on Friday. - joseph

Either of these parts would work fine:

FBA-15
Battery Case for 4 AA Cells

FBA-21
Battery Case for 6 AA Cells

MINISTRY OF MISINFORMATION REPORT ON F-9, I NEED YOUR HELP!

http://www.current.tv/watch/23109764

You may not have heard from me in a while, but I have been stirring up controversy. Many people remember MKULTRA right? Google it if you can't remember. Lately there has been alot of "misinformation" given to us through the media and through the US Government. What is F-9? is it the latest scare? What is the truth about what our government does and how they take control of our culturally collective mind share? What do you think? Please watch this video, interact by leaving me a comment andpoke around the net looking for the truth. You will find it. It should also be fun. The issues that are spoken of in this report are real...aren't they? Get back to me! Oh and if you green light it...it goes to air.

Thanks for your interaction.
There's a 1900 and a 2150 showing at the Metreon.

We could get together for dinner then hit the 2150 or do the earlier show and food after. Let me know what you want to do and I'll put out the details in the afternoon. Most likely SF, probably the Metreon if they have it.
WORLD HORROR CONVENTION 2006 COMES TO SAN FRANCISCO: World Horror Convention 2006, a professional convention for writers, artists, publishers and booksellers focusing on horror and dark fantasy, comes to the Holiday Inn San Francisco-Golden Gateway May 11-14, 2006. Guests of Honor include author Peter Straub (Toastmaster; www.peterstraub.net), artist Brom (www.bromart.com), publishers John Pelan (www.darksidepress.com) and Hiroki Sakai (www.vertical-inc.com), and authors Kim Newman (www.johnnyalucard.com) and Clive Barker (www.clivebarker.com).

San Francisco has a colorful past, growing from a small village to a major city nearly overnight as a result of the 1849 Gold Rush. The writers of the "beat" generation, the hippies of the Summer of Love in the late 1960's and the large gay/lesbian population have all contributed to making San Francisco the fascinating place it is today. The City by the Bay was home to literary legends such as Ambrose Bierce and Fritz Leiber, and the Bay Area hosts horror personalities in both the literary world and the world of cinema. Tourist information on www.whc2006.org includes ghost tours, haunted hotels, film locations, and more.

Attending Memberships are on sale through May 31, 2005 for just $100 for the weekend. Beginning June 1, 2005, Attending Memberships will be $110, and prices will go up incrementally to $140 at the door. Memberships may be purchased online or by mail – see www.whc2006.org for more details.

For more than ten years, the World Horror Society has overseen the World Horror Convention to provide an event that is conducive to education, networking and conducting business for horror professionals and enthusiasts. In celebration of professional achievement, WHC presents the Horror Grandmaster Award, honoring individuals who have contributed greatly to the horror field. Honorees are nominated and selected by past and present Members of WHC, and the 2006 Horror Grandmaster Award will be presented in a special ceremony at WHC 2006. Full details on past winners of the Grandmaster award may be found at www.worldhorrorsociety.org.

This year’s co-chairs are Darren Mckeeman of Gothic.net, one of the foremost sites for online horror fiction and news; Chad Savage of SinisterVisions.com, award-winning horror artist and web designer; and Jeremy Lassen of Night Shade Books (www.nightshadebooks.com), award-winning publisher of quality books from a broad spectrum of genres. Mckeeman, Savage, and Lassen bring a wide range of professional skills and experience to WHC 2006, and plan to make this year’s event a convention to remember.

WHC offers a juried Art Show featuring work of general interest to the horror and dark fantasy community. Work from both professional and amateur artists will be featured, and WHC 2006 will host a silent auction and print sales for participating artists. Full information on submitting work to the jury process may be found at www.whc2006.org. Artists need only apply to the jury once; acceptance by the jury allows an artist to exhibit at any future WHC.

WHC 2006 welcomes advertisers and sponsors from San Francisco and the world. Please see our Advertising section on www.whc2006.org for full information, or to contact the committee with your questions. We are compiling a Horror Tourist Guide to include in member packets; please contact us with information to include.

WHC2006.org offers up-to-the-minute information about WHC 2006, as well as forums and email discussion lists for your questions and comments. The complete committee list may be found there, including photos, bios, and contact information. Our first Progress Report will be mailed soon, and will include ballots for the 2006 Horror Grandmaster Award. Nominations and voting are open to Members of this and past World Horror Conventions; please purchase your membership soon if you would like to participate in the voting.

The 213 Things Skippy is No Longer Allowed to Do in the U.S. Army

Once upon a time, there was a SPC Schwarz stationed with the Army in the Balkans. SPC Schwarz was either very clever or very bored; but probably both, since he managed to attempt or be warned about 213 things he wasn't allowed to do. He collected those things into a hillarious list and posted them to the web. The site hadn't been updated in a couple of years and has since gone away; but the list is classic, so I saved it. A couple favorites: 2. My proper military title is 'Specialist Schwarz' not 'Princess Anastasia'. and 191. Our Humvees cannot be assembled into a giant battle-robot.
