ECM Friday Dinners are back!

That’s right the date has been set in stone and the ECM Friday Night Dinner is back!

We are going to start this at the location that started the tradition over a decade ago. Then after dinner it’s off to downtown Walnut Creek to have coffee at La Scalla,
It’s been too long since this has happened.

Yaesu FT50 battery loan?

Hey guys... I'm leaving for Africa this week and I just realized that when my FT50 was stolen it had on it the AA battery case that I was planning on using (I had two FT50s)... any chance someone has one to loan me for my trip (I have one on order but it won't arrive in time... :( I leave on Friday. - joseph

Lately there has been alot of "misinformation" given to us through the media and through the US Government. What is F-9? is it the latest scare? What is the truth about what our government does and how they take control of our culturally collective mind share? What do you think? They are playing Friday March 17th (St Patty's Day) at Bottom of the Hill 10:30 first band

I mean, they're robots ... and they fight. Oh, the carnage. The bulletproof glass makes for safe family fun and don't forget the bleacher butt as an added bonus.

WORLD HORROR CONVENTION 2006 COMES TO SAN FRANCISCO: World Horror Convention 2006, a professional convention for writers, artists, publishers and booksellers focusing on horror and dark fantasy, comes to the Holiday Inn San Francisco-Golden Gateway May 11-14, 2006. Once upon a time, there was a SPC Schwarz stationed with the Army in the Balkans. SPC Schwarz was either very clever or very bored; but probably both, since he managed to attempt or be warned about 213 things he wasn't allowed to do. He collected those things into a hillarious list and posted them to the web. The site hadn't been updated in a couple of years and has since gone away; but the list is classic, so I saved it. A couple favorites: 2. My proper military title is 'Specialist Schwarz' not 'Princess Anastasia'. and 191. Our Humvees cannot be assembled into a giant battle-robot.
